Sarah Kustok Awkward Moment: Blackhawks Fan Professes Love For Reporter (VIDEO)

Ralph Waldo Emerson would certainly have shared this video on his Facebook wall if he were still around. The man who said, "all mankind love a lover" would have been quite smitten by this young Blackhawks fan.

Greg from Lamont is a lover. Just ask Sarah Kustok of CSN Chicago.

During an on-ice intermission contest before theBlackhawks 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, Greg found himself on the ice with the fetching reporter. After what must have been a poor showing in the "Shoot the Puck" contest, Greg talks with Sarah. It was important to him to give a shout-out to his sister -- allegedly the biggest Hawks fan. But before he left Sarah's side, he seized the moment.

"I love you, Sarah, he told a shocked Kustok. "You're so pretty and beautiful. I love you."

After the game, Kustok told Hawks defenseman Steve Montador -- jokingly, it seems -- that she was so impressed that instead of a first date that she was going to get married to her amorous fan. Needless to say, Montador seemed worried that she could be off the market. Even if Greg's love goes unrequited, he made quite an impression.

I bet if she wasnt such a straight up dime-piece this wouldnt have been an issue at all. Now imagine if the reporter was a slightly overwieght women in her 40s.....

Oh some of you need to grow a pair. He paid her a compliment, and instead of her acting like a silly American reporter crying "innapropriate" or "sexual harrasment", she handled it beautifully.....and she is HOT!

normally i dont comment on the internet. but this video really caght my attention.

there is a difference between guy picking up a woman and assault. what this guy did is not "picking up woman" ...--- what he did can be viewed as assault. but in north american context one can argue it was a pickup tactic.

but the girl like what he did.. i studied the video very carefully....i dont if the girl meant what she said or not ..but after the in the locker room ...when another guy asked her " it appears you are off the market now".. she responded by saying "it was the best shoot the puck ever" and she would go staright marrying the guy without even date. with this said, no lawyer in the world can charge the guy who said "i love u" with assault or anything like that. there was a guy in the background ... in the subsequent interview... laughing at her... i think this guy guy insulted her "more" than the guy who said " i love u"

How is what he did assault? You studied this video very carefully? Why? He wasn't stalking her. He didn't force her to do anything physically with him. He didn't threaten her. He just declared his love for her. There is a difference between stalking and admiring. You obviously do not know the difference.

If you think somebody is pretty or funny or cute, I see nothing wrong with telling them that. It just seems like a nice thing to say. This guy was obviously charmed by Sarah and paid her a compliment, no big deal.

The young lady seems to be very modest and sweet from outward appearances to be so beautiful, but sometimes that can be deceiving. I hope it is not because they are both very good qaulities to have.
