Taylor Swift: Vogue February 2012 Cover Girl! (PHOTO)

We've got yet another clue in the unfolding case of the Vogue covers.

Rumors had it that Adele would be covering the fashion glossy's coveted March issue. Insiders suspected the British songstress had been chosen not only because of her sky-high popularity, but because of one peculiar request: Vogue has reportedly asked designers to create custom outfits for its as-yet disclosed March girl, who is not a sample size.

But there were some who said Taylor Swift, not Adele, would be Vogue's March cover star.

Turns out, Swift has landed the February cover, which leaked this weekend on The Fashion Spot. The photo shows Swift with blunt bangs covered by a floppy brimmed hat and a chunky pea-green sweater.

For her first cover, we like it just fine. But we're more excited by what it means: Adele for Vogue March 2012! Stay tuned.

I've been listening to and watching her for five years now, and Taylor continues to amaze me. Signed a recording contract at 13 with RCA...BROKE IT at 14 because they wanted her to sing other peoples' songs, signed as the first artist with a little start-up called Big Machine at 14, and made it the BIG MACHINE in Nashville. Youngest person ever honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, 100 major awards as Best Artist, Best Album, Best Song...performed for 1.4 MILLION people in 2011, and she morphs into different roles and appearances constantly. Watch the DVD of the Speak Now tour if you don't know Taylor, watch all two hours at one sitting and be amazed. She wrote, produced, directed, did the stages and costumes, and has won the love and respect of everyone she's ever worked with. She's cast in Le Miserables, and you can bet she'll ace it, and her next album will be even bigger than the last. (longest-running artist on the Billboard 200 in the 21st Century, too) Oh, and she's damn beautiful on the cover of Vogue.

That photo could very easily be someone else. If this is the true cover, how could Voque miss Swift's signature features? And whats with all of the heavy eyeliner?

um, the girl on the cover is pretty and looks absolutely nothing like Taylor Swift as evidenced in the picture below. Can't Vogue find a cover that actually LOOKS like the real Taylor?

She looks gorgeous! And my favorite part about the entire picture is that you can see how beautiful her blue eyes are. When she's in concert or performing, it seems like she swishes her hair about so much that you can hardly notice that she's very beautiful naturally. Love it!
