Queen Margrethe II Of Denmark Feted By Bejeweled Princesses, Queens (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Battle Of The Tiaras!

They don't call them "crown princesses" for nothing. Yesterday while we were curing our Golden Globes fashion hangover stateside, European royals were freshening up for their own fashion parade.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Princess Mary of Denmark, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Queen Silvia of Sweden, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Queen Sonja of Norway and a slew of other royals got together at Copenhagen's Christiansborg Palace Chapel to fete Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, who is marking 40 years on the throne this year.

The princesses, princes, kings and queens were in their finest regal attire. The men swapped two-button suits for military gear, but it was the women who really got to have fun: in place of their typical shift dresses and skirt suits, the ladies wore gowns of velvet, lace and satin... and gleaming bejeweled tiaras upon their heads.

There were so many diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds crowning the royal women, it was hard to know whose to look at first.

So we'll just brighten the end of your day by giving you all of them and letting you decide: who's got the best bling in the land?
