George Clooney 'ER' Bloopers: Star Flubs Supercut

Posted: 01/18/12 12:08 PM ET

George Clooney, already an Oscar-winner, won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama on Sunday night. He's now one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but before he made it on the big screen, he broke out as the star of "ER."

The world swooned over his Dr. Doug Ross, and with good reason: handsome and compassionate, he was the guy everyone would want to treat them in a pinch. Then again, they never saw the outtakes.

Check out this blooper reel of Clooney's time on the NBC medical drama, which includes all the crack ups, mess ups and laugh out loud moments you didn't get to see on TV.

These are not Clooney bloopers, they are all-cast bloopers...I guess Clooney is the biggest name so he got the headline? Lame.

The only thing more yawn worthy than those blooper reals where the stars mess up their lines and laugh is a site headlining it as if it were news.

The was a short lived skit comedy show many years ago that did an animated things about the Jetsons.  George kept forgetting his lines and they would all laugh, and then one of the scenes one of the automatic doors in the house didn't work.  Great send up of this silly trend.

Almost forgot  At the end of Being There they did an outtake of Peter Sellars, playing a retarded man, trying to say vile street language with the totally straight face of someone who had no idea what it meant and he couldn't say it without laughing, although he eventually mastered it.  Its ends the movie and is what an outtake should be because it is very rare

BTW, anyone who in interested in today's politics and especially Citizens United should see this movie.

Looking at that photo of him on ER makes me think that he has one of those faces where some very basic face surgery could make him look 20 years younger. I don't understand why he doesn't, really. But of course it is admirable in one way that he probably doesn't care.

I think that bloopers are only funny to the actors in the scene. I never find then amusing.

He's been flubbing his political lines for years and years ha ha ha.

So what, his time in the lime light should've come and gone by now how many years ago was ER

His acting hasn't improvedin over a decade. As for the show, its ratings dropped considerably when he left. That should tell you something about the show.

And this is "news" now, why? He left ER 12 yrs ago. The series was cancelled 3 yrs ago. Even when he was on it, he wasn't shy about talking about how he flubbed lines.

It's not "news." It's part of the "entertainment" segment.

Are you daft?

Yeah but HP is protraying this as "entertainment news"...which it is far from.

Oh, I'm not daft. But I do see that comprehension escapes you.

Right at the top of the page is: "

Even as "Entertainment News," bloopers from a dead series from a regular who left it 12 years ago is a huge stretch.

Clooney was never in a series called ER.
He was in a comedy series titled "E/R" and an unrelated drama series named "er", but never "ER".
