Hosting Grammy Awards A 'Dream Come True' For LL Cool J

LL Cool J was announced on Wednesday as the first host Grammy Awards host since Queen Latifah commanded the show in 2005.

The two-time Grammy Award winner, who has hosted the live Grammy nominations concert every year since 2008, is ecstatic about taking on the role.

"I'm thrilled to be part of Music's Biggest Night," he said in a statement, according to People.com. "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true."

In addition to his Grammy preparation, Cool J is appearing in episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles as Sam Hanna.
