'The Rosie Show': NeNe Leakes Thinks Star Jones Was Manipulative And Sneaky On 'Apprentice' (VIDEO)

NeNe Leakes famously tried to quit "Celebrity Apprentice," only to be fired by Donald Trump anyway. She talked about her experiences on that show, and particularly her feud with Star Jones, on "The Rosie Show" (Weeknights, 7 p.m. EST on OWN).

Describing her first day arriving to film the show, Leakes said of Jones, "She was standing back and looking at me like, 'I don't like reality stars.'"

"What you guys don't know, is Star and I went to dinners together." Leakes said. The women apparently bonded after a medical incident. "Every night after shows we would go to dinner. We double-dated."

But Leakes' take on all of that now, is that Jones was being disingenuous in their new friendship. "She was very sneaky," she said. "She was getting around me to see how I really was so that she could like get me. And when I realized how manipulative she was, it set me so off."

So much so, that the growing tension between the women was one of the reasons Leakes left the show. As for making amends with Jones, Leakes says she has no interest in that, but also that she doesn't hold a grudge.

What is up with all the Nene bashing??? Good Grief! Doe's anyone really believe that her
entertaining antics are who she really is? The judgement is way too severe and speaks about
something else I believe. I don't know her, and have only seen short clips of those horrible shows------that aside, I love her beautiful face---I love her largeness------and I love it that she's singing her song the way she thinks it should be sung. All of the animal references are steeped in sick racial self hatred. Because Star Jones has a law degree makes her a superior person?
Do you know many lawyers? Verbal ease is not brilliance, and academic education for most people produces conformists. Nor do vulgar acts make up the entire sum of a human being. There are many forms of intelligence, the highest being intuition. The alarming invective towards Nene is a little bit scary in a Rorschach test kind of way.

Nene is full of it...she could even say "Hi" to Kim & Sheree on last weeks episode of RHOWA. Fame as gone to her head and she needs to chill out before it's all taken away from her.

I agree. I really didn't understand the Nene & Sheree fight, but what she did to Kim was unbelievable! I think Starr & Nene are cut from the same cloth. Last week was funny with all that Louis Vuitton luggage falling all over the place. lol

This probably isn't the place for it but since Star was mentioned I'll say it.

I'm a bit disappointed in Star. When the Sandusky sex scandal broke she was Tweeting her disgust and what she would do with child molesters. The question posed to her on Twitter was if she had evidence of a child having been sexually abused what would she do and her response was scream it from the highest mountain.

Well, sent to her was evidence of an African-American child that was sodomized by a white man and evidence of a white cop covering it up. That was last year when Sandusky broke and there's been no mention of it by her.

I'm just saying ones word is ones bond and at the end of your days how do you reconcile within your self the choice to do nothing

Interestingly, last night I searched my Essence magazines and happened to see an article whereby she discussed her victimization of a domestic abusive relationship. I didn't read it because 1. I have no interest in her, and 2. I thought about how abusive she had been on The Apprentice. I remember how awful she treated Star Jones and LaToya Jackson, and LaToya told NeNe that she was hurt by her abusive behavior. I then told someone that I was hurt too by the way that she treated LaToya. NeNe needs to know that GOD is against that type of juvenile and evil behavior, and about the law of reciprocity: What you put out will come back to you!

Most people on the networks are walking stereotypes. Human cartoons and physicalized sound bites that are formed for the uneducated. But why bash NeNe? Television is a ministry no doubt about it---that purports white superiority in every frame. It is not benign. It is an

I agree, but why should she and others feed into the stereotype? These are not stupid people, they know exactly what role they're expected to play. At the end of the day money rules all, some people are willing to sacrifice self respect not only individually, but for an entire group in which the stereotype is being directed.
