Bill Cosby On Jimmy Fallon Delights With Tales Of The Navy, SATs (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bill Cosby Is 74, Delightful As Hell

Bill Cosby appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday ostensibly to promote his book "I Didn't Ask to Be Born (But I'm Glad I Was)," but while he was there, he did what he does best: Chatted with Jimmy -- known to impersonate Cosby himself -- about whatever the hell he wanted. Which he gets to do, because he's Bill Cosby.

Cosby told Jimmy about his early days in the Navy, where he served for four years prior to his stand-up comedy career. By Cosby's recollection, in those days the Navy was significantly more PC than it is today -- the extent of swearing from his sergeants was to call him "rat's earwax" and a "broken yolk." And that was before his mother got involved.

He then tells a story of his remarkable failure in taking the SATs. And luckily for him, he didn't learn his score until he returned to Temple University finish his college degree at the age of 42.

As all comedy fans known, Bill Cosby was the true innovator of story-based comedy seen in stand-up today -- Louis C.K. and Patton Oswalt both cite Cosby as one of their main inspirations. Despite getting up there in age, Cosby appears to be sharp as ever, still touring the country regularly.
