Andrew Rannells could be going from Broadway to NBC.

The "Book of Mormon" Tony nominee has inked a talent deal with 20th Television and NBC that would see him star in the untitled blended family comedy from "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy and his new Season 3 scribe Ali Adler.

I hope this is a good move for Andy. He is a wonderful triple-threat Broadway performer and I hate to see him give up what he does so well for a TV sitcom, unless it is a really high quality show where his talents can "shine."
Andy took voice lessons from me in high school and I've followed his career closely. I wish him the best.
