Bryan Fischer Of American Family Association: 'Poppers' And Promiscuous Gay Sex Cause AIDS (VIDEO)

For a man so adamantly against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) lifestyles, Bryan Fischer just can't seem to stop discussing them on the air.

Fischer, who serves as Director of Issues Analysis for the American Family Association (AFA), previously compared LGBT people to Nazis and has endorsed the notion that the HIV virus is not the true cause of AIDS. Now, as Right Wing Watch and Towleroad are reporting, the right wing Christian extremist says he believes AIDS is caused by promiscuous behavior within the gay community, as well as the use of "poppers."

"God's design is one sexual partner for life. Now, in the homosexual community, the average homosexual has hundreds of sexual partners over the course of a lifetime," Fischer said on his "Focal Point" radio show. After describing the use of alkyl nitrites, or "poppers," among gay men, he added, "It's this rampant promiscuity, coupled with this drug use, [that] causes the human immune system to break down."
