'Drew Peterson: Untouchable' Premieres On Lifetime, Twitter Reacts To Rob Lowe's Performance

How Did Rob Lowe Do As Drew Peterson In 'Untouchable'?

Saturday night saw the premiere of the highly-publicized Lifetime film "Drew Peterson: Untouchable," starring Rob Lowe.

As expected, Twitter users were abuzz about the film, taking to the platform to share some of their favorite lines -- including the unforgettable "I'm untouchable, b*tch" catchphrase -- and weigh in how Lowe did in his portrayal of the murder suspect, a transformation Lowe previously described as "a huge challenge."

As Lowe tweeted early Saturday night, the phrase "Drew Peterson," as well as the hash tag #untouchable, was trending on Twitter.

In real life, the former Bolingbrook police sergeant is currently awaiting trial in the death of his third wife Kathleen Savio and is also the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy Peterson. After Peterson watched the film himself, his attorney Joel Brosky told the Chicago Tribune that his client thought the film was "hysterical."

"He chuckled at all of the inaccuracies and things that never happened," Brodsky told the Tribune, before noting that whether potential jurors have seen the film could play a role in whether they will be selected. Brodsky also said he may push for the trial to be relocated altogether as a result of the movie.

Below, we've rounded up a number of reactions from across the Twittersphere to the film which, if you missed it, we're sure will be playing in a number of encores in the weeks ahead:
