Banana Republic Trina Turk Collaboration To Launch In June! (PHOTO)

Banana Republic's New Designer Collaboration

As if we weren't tantalized enough by another big name collaboration debuting soon, Banana Republic announced a new line with Trina Turk today.

Women's Wear Daily reports that the famed designer of sunny weather clothes will debut the Banana Republic Trina Turk collection in June, with apparel priced from $49.50 to $150.

Pieces will be "Palm Springs inspired," which means we're sure to see tons of Trina's signature bright colors and resort-ready dresses.

We're already excited about one piece: a "deep teal patterned one-shoulder dress" named Coachella, after the music festival.

Perhaps buoyed by the success of their recent "Mad Men"-inspired collection, Banana Republic is making this first foray into designer collaborations of the sort that have been all the rage in the past year. But Trina's no stranger to retail partnerships: her past ventures have included a stationery line with Dempsey & Carroll and a swimwear collection.

Sadly, we've only got this one sneak peek of a shirt and shorts combo, but we can't wait to see the whole Palm Springs-y line.
