Celebrity psychic medium John Edward paid a visit to Kim and Kourtney Kardashian on last night's episode of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," telling the sisters he felt that two people would be pregnant in a short time.
Kim immediately thought of sister Khloe, who has been open about her struggle to conceive a child with husband Lamar Odom, but was Kourtney already pregnant at the reading? She shakes her head from side to side indicating "no" when Edward asks, but we did the math and Kourtney may have been pregnant and didn't even know it.
Edwards apparently met with the sisters on Sept. 30, which was the eighth anniversary of their father Robert Kardashian's death. Kourtney announced her pregnancy to Us Weekly on Nov. 30, telling the magazine she was "nine weeks along" at the time. The math isn't perfect but that puts the date of conception right around Sept. 30. Now that's just spooky.
But before you start telling everyone about Edward's uncanny psychic ability, we have to wonder if the sisters really met with Edward on Sept. 30. The show's storyline has definitely been massaged through the magic of editing and events don't match up to the real life timeline.
Two weeks ago we watched as Kim and her mother Kris Jenner traveled to Dubai, where Kim confessed that she wasn't happy in her marriage --a confession was billed by E! as "the beginning of the end." The problem is that Kim and her mom traveled to Dubai in mid October, but we're supposed to believe this confession happened before the September meeting with Edward.
This is problematic because the Dubai confession was allegedly the first time she admitted something was wrong with her marriage. But if Kim did meet with Edward on Sept. 30, it seems she knew for at least a month that she didn't want be married to Kris Humprhries.
We know this because when Edward leaves, Kim starts crying and tells Kourtney, "I honestly feel like I can't do this anymore with Kris. I feel like I got into this way too fast and I don't want to be married anymore."
The show's obvious timeline errors certainly don't help dispel reports that everything from the proposal to her Dubai confession was staged.
At least one thing is certain, last night's episode also didn't help take the pressure off of Khloe to get pregnant. The 27-year-old tweeted last night, "The pressure of twitter... Just to be clear John didn't say I would be pregnant with Kourt. He said 2peps would be and Kim said "Khloe," and added, "It's crazy how he predicted Kourts pregnancy! That was a crazy episode."
