From performances with dragons to spectacular firework displays, China kicked off the Lunar New Year with a variety of stunning celebrations. The holiday began on Monday to welcome the Year of the Dragon and will last for a week. Many traveled for hours to make it home to spend the holidays with their families. In China, the Year of the Dragon is believed to bring good fortune.
