Ice Hockey Rink Collapses In Slovakia (VIDEO)

Hockey Rink Collapses

All we can say after watching this video is thank goodness nobody was hurt. Former NHL forward Richard Zednik was skating with a group of children on an ice rink in Námestovo, Slovakia on Sunday when suddenly, pieces of ice began falling from the roof. In the clip above (via Live Leak), you can see Zednik and the kids get off the ice just before the roof collapsed completely.

Somehow, the roof only collapsed down on the ice and didn't touch beyond the boards of the rink. According to Telesport, nobody was harmed.

We, along with everyone else most likely, can't help but think of the Metrodome collapsing back in 2010 after Minneapolis got more than 17 inches of snow.
