Ivanka Trump's Red Carpet T-Shirt: Yay Or Nay? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Ivanka! We applaud you for taking this risk at last night's "W.E." premiere (and honestly, it's refreshing to see a casual look on the red carpet vis-a-vis Madonna's high-drama dress).

Ivanka Trump paired her sleek LBD and black pumps with an unusual accessory: a 3/4-sleeved white tee.

We've seen a bunch of people make a white tee count as glam on the red carpet -- Kate Bosworth in Jil Sander, Milla Jovovich at Chanel's couture show this summer and Kristen Stewart come to mind.

Ivanka Trump Kushner converted to Orthodox Judaism when she married a couple of years ago. Thus she is supposed to dress modestly (remember her long-sleeved wedding dress?). This not very attractive outfit may be her way of wearing a skinny-strap LBD and playing with the notion of "sheer" while remaining respectably covered.

Better that than what one sees all too often hanging out on red carpets ...!
