Kate Moss Mango Ads: Brand Taps Supermodel For Spring 2012 Campaign (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Kate's Got A New Gig!

We always wonder what it's like to be Kate Moss and have famous fashion houses always begging you to shill their threads.

Today Moss adds another brand to her resume: she's officially been knighted as the new face of Mango, Women's Wear Daily reports this morning.

It's not like this is a surprise; Kate's been rumored to be the next face of the brand ever since Scarlett Johansson, who fronted Mango for several seasons, shot her last sexy ads last year. Moss already appeared in a video ad for the brand, in which she robbed a store in Paris alongside Terry Richardson. (You can't make this stuff up.)

But Kate hasn't formally appeared in a Mango print campaign until now, when she'll join the likes of Olivia Palermo, Penelope Cruz, Claudia Schiffer and yes, ScarJo.

The company, which sells budget-minded maxi dresses, silk blouses and other warm weather wardrobe staples, seems pretty thrilled about their new hire. A spokesperson for Mango even went there and addresses the controversy of Kate's hard-partying past:

"Kate Moss was chosen as the image of Mango because she is a world-famous fashion icon, making her one of the most sought-after models in the fashion world," she said. "She had a turbulent past, which she has put behind her to continue being a supermodel, and has recently married and become a mother. After two decades appearing on catwalks worldwide, she has demonstrated that she is the top model par excellence."
