Baking without sugar? It's not an impossible feat. Many people can't enjoy sugar, whether it's due to a dietary restriction or by choice. So for them, it may be a bit difficult to find sweet treats that cut down on sugar or replace sugar entirely, especially when those goodies are store-bought. But it's really easy to make sugar-free baked goods at home. These recipes prove it's possible.

You'll find cookies, cupcakes, muffins and quick breads in the following recipe collection. The recipes replace sugar with honey, agave nectar or sugar substitutes. And when using these sweeteners, you'll notice you don't use as much as if you were using white sugar. With the following recipes you can cut down on sugar without sacrificing sweetness.

Instead of sugar, this recipe uses honey. Not only does the honey give the cookies sweetness, it also lends color and flavor. The recipe uses whole-wheat pastry flour and ground almonds for a healthier cookie. And there's very little butter included.
