After three group dates in a row, Samantha decided she'd waited long enough to get the chance at a one-on-one date with Ben Flajnik on "The Bachelor" (Mon., 8 p.m. EST on ABC). She confronted him about it privately during this week's date and Ben was very open with her about why he's been hesitant to go to that next level with her.

"To be completely honest with you, the group dates that you've been on you've been kind of highly emotional," he explained to her. He thus gave preference to the girls he felt had been more patient with the process. Even as he explained this, she proved him right by interrupting him.

"But I do want to be given that chance," she said. Finally, he realized that what he feared would be the case with her was in fact the case.

"Just based on the track record, I'm thinking we should probably end this," he told her. While the other girls started teasing when they saw her getting emotional again. This time, though, she had a genuine reason for being upset as she packed her things and left the mansion.
