Vera Wang Strips Down To Her Swimsuit For Harper's Bazaar February 2012 (PHOTOS)

Beloved designer Vera Wang opens up the doors to her home -- and shows off a little more square footage of her own -- in the February issue of Harper's Bazaar.

First let's talk about the real estate: Wang's famous $10 million Beverly Hills mansion purportedly inspired her spring 2012 wedding gowns, and she gave us a sneak peek of the house last year in this behind-the-scenes video.

We were anxious to see more of Vera's digs in the new, more comprehensive Bazaar spread, which were shot by Douglas Friedman, and his photos don't disappoint: look at that view! That Stella McCartney jumpsuit! All that glass! (We wonder where she changes.)

And while we're obviously dying to see more of what Wang's sprawling Beverly Hills mansion looks like (especially more of her closets), we're also proud of the 62-year-old for posing in a black corset swimsuit -- and she looks nothing short of amazing.

Wang admitted to the magazine that revealing more of her body made her a bit apprehensive.

"The next thing I knew, I was there in a swimsuit. The funny thing is that I'm the girl who no one sees at the beach. Ask anyone who's traveled with me. Normally, I'm in so many layers, I look like Lawrence of Arabia."

In fact a lot of Asian women look like that in their 60s... with hair dye black of course.

I had no idea Vera was 62. I'm proud of her, I thought she was in her 40s. Listen, If I can wear a bikini in my 60s, I will do it for the fun of it. Im in my 30s and people still think I look like I'm in high school, I dont drink, smoke and stay out the sun. My dad is almost 70, but he looks like hes 40. Same goes for my elders who are in their 80s and 90s, but are spry and independent. Aging well has everything to with good genes, healthy lifestyle and having youthful heart.

a) all you haters (especially the women) are just jealous you aren't or won't be in this shape at her age. you haters need to learn that women should support other strong women who are doing well for themselves and the world.

b) enough with the photoshop talk. all magazine photos are photoshopped, but this IS her body- if you see her in videos, this IS her body type and shape. as for the LA background- you people don't seem to realize that the reason having a home out there on those hills is so coveted is that it IS idyllic, and about 98% of the year, the weather is about 70 with the sun shining ALL THE TIME.

Isn’t it any wonder so many women are losing their mind attaining these mirage goals never mind sustaining them? Then again this is our Vera and when Vera struts in front of the pool boy it’s a moment she’s savored since eternity.

why the necessity for rudeness and just mean ..so uncalled for..she is hsowing that being over a certain age should not define you..and that is a good thing..but some are jealous that they do not look that good and are much younger..so sad.
