'Jimmy Kimmel Live': Sarah Hyland Talks Howard Stern, Julie Bowen (VIDEO)

Sarah Hyland On Cursing With Howard Stern And Julie Bowen

"Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland reminisced about her years as a child actor on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC). When she was just five years old Hyland appeared in the movie "Private Parts," playing Howard Stern's daughter.

Hyland revealed a surprisingly conservative side to Stern as she remembered one incident when a grip cursed on-set and Stern yelled "Don't curse in front of the children!" Something, she said, that she found to be ironic as she got older.

That prompted host Jimmy Kimmel to mention that Hyland's current screen mother, Julie Bowen, is also known to be prolifically potty-mouthed on set. Not only that, but she gave Hyland an appropriately adult gift for her 21st birthday: A bottle of tequila.

With screen parents like those looking out for her, it sounds like Hyland's got all her bases covered.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC.
