Piers Morgan Won't Miss 'America's Got Talent' Judges Howie Mandel And Sharon Osbourne (VIDEO)

Piers Morgan Won't Miss Howie Mandel & Sharon Osbourne

Piers Morgan announced he was leaving his position as a judge on "America's Got Talent" to focus on his CNN talk show "Piers Morgan Tonight." One month later, the talent show landed Howard Stern to be his replacement. Morgan stopped by "Rachael Ray" (weekdays on ABC) and made it quite clear that he won't be spending too much time missing his former co-judges.

"Obviously I'm going to miss Howie Mandel very much indeed ... like you would miss going to the dentist and having all your teeth extracted one by one with no anesthetic," he said sardonically. "And I'll miss Sharon Osbourne," he continued, chuckling and rolling his eyes.

It remains to be seen if TV viewers will miss Morgan, however. The ratings of "Piers Morgan Tonight" have failed to match his predecessor Larry King's, and it's quite possible that Stern's return to the mainstream after years on satellite radio could precipitate a huge spike in "AGT" ratings. And it's never a good thing to get beat in the ratings game by both the man you replaced and the man who replaced you.
