'Sh*t San Franciscans Say': Our City Finally Gets A Meme (VIDEO)

We thought "Sh*t Baristas Say" was the closest our city was going to get in the race for total meme saturation. We thought wrong.

Introducing: "Sh*t San Franciscans Say" -- the latest (and, as SFist pointed out, just plain late) interpretation of the Sh*t People Say meme craze. And though the video may be late, our dear city has been skewered.

"My dog's smart, like really smart. Like Harvard smart," said one San Franciscan. "I mean, I want to go, but it's in Oakland," said another. And of course there's our personal favorite slam: "So I found this great cleanse, and you can drink on it!"

The video captured our sacramental love of marijuana, our well-meaning naivety ("is the term Indian Summer totally racist?") and our hopeless Peter Pan syndrome ("now that you're 40, you should start thinking about a career") perfectly. It also makes us feel both comforted and ridiculed for paying $10 for a donut. Damn you, Dynamo.

Update: Go a little farther south for Sh*t Silicon Valley Says. Now the whole meme can be over. We promise.
