North Carolina dominated North Carolina State on Thursday night in almost every aspect of the game. The Tar Heels out-rebounded the Wolfpack 48-21, blocked eight shots, won the turnover battle and at one point, they held a 31-point lead. But the one thing N.C. State was able to do was make the highlight of the night when guard Lorenzo Brown got a defensive rebound and hit an 80-foot shot with less than a second remaining in the first half.
The stunning heave provided little solace to Wolfpack coach Mark Gottfried.
"That's about the only shot we could make, one from 80-feet," Gottfried told ESPN after the half.
UNC went on to win 74-55.
