Obama Attends Exclusive Dinner, Occupy DC Protests Outside (PHOTOS OF PROTEST)

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is attending the Alfalfa Club dinner, an annual black-tie event of the capital's political and business leaders. It is the second club dinner the president is addressing in four years.

Obama is at the dinner at a hotel near the White House with his wife, Michelle.

The club's only mission is to put on the steak and lobster dinner and give political leaders a chance to share jokes and make humorous speeches. As in past years, the dinner was closed to the media.

Among those attending were numerous current and former senators, including John Kerry of Massachusetts and Pat Leahy of Vermont.

Obama last spoke at the dinner in 2009. He did not attend in 2010 or last year.

He is not qualified. Would you want to serve in the army for someone who was born a dual citizen. It doesn't make sense. That's why the presidential requirements in the constitution say ''naturalborn''. Think about after the american revolution. A British citizen marries an American woman and have a son. Read all of Article II and the exception clause. Learn something. Be somebody.

Jas, you might do some learning about all that yourself. If the Constitution requires that a natural born citizen be born on American soil of two citizen parents, neither the Democratic nor the Republican party had a candidate in the last election who was eligible to hold the Office. But it doesn't.
When you say "Think about after the american revolution­. A British citizen marries an American woman and have a son", what exactly are you getting at? At the time, the United States was full of people who'd been born British subjects, and lived as such for many years-- George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, to name a few. After the Treaty of Paris, all those former British subjects who adhered to the American cause became the original citizens of the United States.

This is what makes one a US citizen. 1. Both parents are for in the US. 2. One parent is born in the US. 3. Or you are born on US soil. President Obama's mother was a born US citizen and his father became a citizen. Therefore, the President is a citizen. Note, Hawaii is an American state. Go learn your American history you freaking racist. Also, note that America was built on slavery and immigration which in turn would make us all illegals. If you don't like it than you can leave the US...trust the US will be better off without your hate and ignorance.

President for life, great leader, supreme commander, and pinhead who's Father was a Kenyan citizen...therefore making him ineligible for the presidency, would rather Tee-off or campaign than try to run this country.
My good God, this man is an embarrassment. He and his family should be tar & feathered and sent back to Kenya or Hawaii, or wherever the Hell they slithered from.

Laugh at your self. Pull up uscis.gov ..look up interpretation 324.2, You will find three different types of citizens noted and used by your u.s. immigration service. Natural born, native born, and naturalized. Make up any definition you want. The court needs to define them since some people forgot.

That is what US presidents do; historically all presidents have attended exclusive dinners. I cannot recall any president canceling a dinner because of a protest. DC is the location of hundreds of protests every year. There's usually at least one protest per month per year. So, I suppose presidents should just tailor their schedules according to whatever protest happens to be going on. Riiight.....

Can you recall a President walking out of the dinner BEFORE the other side spoke,as President Obama did right before Jeb Bush got up to speak. Real classy of the President, considering Jeb's dad, HW Bush, was sitting in the audience.
