SAG Awards 2012 Red Carpet: All The Best Dresses, Jewels & More! (PHOTOS)

While the Golden Globes glow has faded and the Academy Awards are still in the offing, we've got SAG Awards fashion to fill our red carpet hankering.

Viola Davis, Meryl Streep, Jessica Chastain and the rest of our awards show faves were out in gorgeous gowns, heels and jewels, plus a few surprises: Rose Byrne in pants, Kaley Cuoco in a giant Heidi-style braid and Emma Stone in a flouncy knee-length frock. Some looks were good, some were bad. But it all gave us yet another tantalizing hint of what we'll see on Oscar night.

I LOVED all the ladies from glee's dresses. Also the Modern Family women had beautiful dresses, the older daughter, Julie Bowen, and sofia. All of them, plus Stacy Keibler- those were my tops.

Viola Davis looked absolutely stunning! The richness of her skin coupled with the cream and chocolate accents of the dress just...just....just took my breath away! Can't wait to see her at the Oscars!

Viola Davis is a terrific actress and, currently, the star of the film "The Help." She is primarily known for her acting on Broadway but she has been featured in film too. I just read a great interview wherein she said she doesn't look like what Hollywood wants these days and she is 46 and too old for most roles. I just have to disagree. I believe she looks fantastic and decades younger than she is. I have yet to see her dressed in anything that didn't just scream "class" all the way! She is an elegant and extraordinarily capable actress and woman.
