UPDATE: A source close to "Saturday Night Live" has told The Huffington Post that Jonah Hill will host the March 10 episode of the show. The source also indicated that Justin Bieber has not yet officially committed to appearing on "SNL" this season.

ORIGINAL: Justin Bieber and Jonah Hill are coming to "Saturday Night Live" sometime during the 2012 season, according to Alec Baldwin's WNYC podcast "Here's the Thing."

On the episode released Monday morning, Baldwin interviews "SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels in Michaels' office, and Baldwin reads off a board of confirmed hosts. He indicates that teen pop sensation Justin Bieber is slated to appear as a host and musical guest on the late-night sketch program sometime this season, and actor Hill will also appear as a host.

"The biggest names in the business are coming here thirty-something years [after 'SNL''s debut] to host the show," Baldwin said, reading off the legendary cork board that indicates the roster for the current season of the show. "Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy, [who] won the Emmy award, and Katy Perry's coming and Jimmy Fallon, who's double-dipping on your payroll, Jonah Hill, and I don't want to ruin any other names, [but] Bieber's confirmed, he's the music and the [host]."

NBC had not formally announced either guest.

Justin Bieber has never hosted "SNL," but appeared as the musical guest on the April 10, 2010 episode with host Tina Fey, where he appeared in several sketches. He also stopped by when Dana Carvey hosted in 2011. Hill, who is currently nominated for an Best Supporting Actor Academy Award, previously hosted the show in 2008.

New episodes of "SNL" will return next month, with Zooey Deschanel hosting with musical guest Bon Iver on February 4, and Channing Tatum with Karmin on February 11.

NBC has not yet confirmed Bieber or Hill's hosting. Check back here for updates.

And in one fell swoop, SNL has officially become a parody of itself...it's too bad they didn't have the foresight to combine non-actor Bieber as host with non-singer Lana Del Ray as musical guest

"Justin Bieber Hosting 'Saturday Night Live' In 2012", sounds like the answer to the question I make to myself sometimes: "Can this episode of SNL get any worst?" I guess it can!

Hopefully during his opening monologue all of the female cast will come out one by one with baby bumps claiming he's the daddy.
