Leonardo DiCaprio Talks Clint Eastwood, Directorial Plans

Leo's Plans To Get Behind The Camera

He's easy on the eyes in front of the camera, but Leonardo Dicaprio has his eye on the director's chair.

DiCaprio, who earned a Golden Globe nod for his role in Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar," was inspired by Eastwood's directorial style.

"I do [want to direct]. And if I did direct, I would try to have the same no-bullsh*t approach to it as Clint [Eastwood] and his crew have," DiCaprio told GQ Australia. "Seriously, there are no frills on his set. It's a small, tight-knit crew."

While DiCaprio isn't helming a project yet, he has a busy year ahead of him. In addition to playing mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby in Baz Lurhmann's "The Great Gatsby," DiCaprio is starring in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" and is in talks to star in a big-screen adaptation of Boston Teran's novel "The Creed Of Violence."
