Brad Pitt Says He Won't Let His Kids Google Him Or Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt To Kids: Don't Google Me

The Brangelina clan surely enjoy a slew of privileges, but there's at least one thing Brad Pitt won't allow his kids to do: Google mom and dad's names.

The "Moneyball" actor talked parental controls with Germany's Bild, noting that he and girlfriend Angelina Jolie have blocked the ability to search their names on their children's computers to shield them from the constant tabloid gossip, People magazine reports.

"I don't want to make myself dependent on what other people think," Pitt told the newspaper.

In a May 2011 interview with USA Weekend, Pitt explained that sometimes it's hard to escape all the media attention and give his children some sense of normalcy, but the couple is doing what they can.

"It's not unusual for the kids to be covered in paint. We have mud fights. It's chaos from morning until the lights go out, and sometimes after that," he told the magazine.

Although Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox aren't allowed to stay up to date on the latest media fodder, they have noticed mom is missing a ring from a certain finger.

Pitt recently told the Hollywood Reporter that his children have been pressuring him to seal the deal with a proposal.

But will there be a wedding in the near future?

"We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out," he said.
