CFDA's 'The Fashion Fund' On Hulu: Diane Von Furstenberg And Joseph Altuzarra Talk About Fashion's Most Coveted Prize (VIDEO)

Why We're Loving 'The Fashion Fund'

Last Thursday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue magazine released the first episode of a six-part series on Hulu called 'The Fashion Fund.' The premise of the online series is to show those outside of the fashion industry just what it takes to make it in the business -- and it's pretty entertaining.

Specifically, it highlights the ins and outs of the CFDA process, how the board members choose and nurture young design talent who, without their mentorship (and funds of course), might not get the chance to showcase their talents otherwise. Heavy-hitters in the series include names like Anna Wintour, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler (past winners of the prestigious CFDA award). It's a rare treat to get a behind-the-scenes look into this aspect of the fashion business, and with the experts featured and the cool cinematography, this is one series we're already hooked on.

Tomorrow, the second episode of 'The Fashion Fund' will premiere, and we've got two exclusive clips of the latest installment featuring DVF and Joseph Altuzarra below.
