Smith, now 27, signed on to play the youngest son of Tim Allen's character on the popular '90s TV show when he was just seven years old. Though "Home Improvement" ended its run in 1999, the cast recently reunited for a special Entertainment Weekly article in October 2011.
''It was pretty exciting to leave it behind and do other things,'' Smith told EW about leaving his "Home Improvement" days behind. He later started a vegan food company and became an installation artist.

To be charged as being under the influence, they have to fail a field sobriety test. Under the influence is under the influence. It matters not if it's alcohol, pot, illegal drugs or legal prescription meds. I agree that pot is far less harmful, but the law is the law. If he couldn't pass basic tests, then he was impaired.
