Skier In Rail Slide Blooper Video Hung Out To Dry (VIDEO)

We've never been big park skiers at HuffPost. Big mountain cliff drops? Sure, those are doable (not enjoyable, but doable). Super-G style telemark turns? Absolutely. But half-pipes, fun boxes, and rail slides? Nope. Those are recipes for broken bones and shattered egos.

That said, we admire tricksters who have the courage to try new things -- both in the park and out. A new generation of park skiers has deftly taken the sport to the streets, and they're eager to share their failures (see above video) and successes (see 'JP Auclair Street Segment' below) with the world.

I went skiing in 1995 to Utah . I was supplied with a set of high speed demo skis well I was skiing the bowls on top of the mountain ridge when i over accelerated and went off and over a ridge into another bowl and tried in vain to work back to the original mountain top I ended up getting lost for 5 hours in scorching sun sweating profusely knowing that when the sun would soon set on me i would perhaps freeze in soaked clothing .I said a prayer not to let me die where people would laugh before they cried of my demise . I made it to a small roadway and had to jump 30ft into a snow drift off the side of the road I was soon picked up by a military person who was on his way to perhaps a secret missile silo in the utah mountains. My life was spared and it is a very scary thing to be lost i the wilderness in Avalanche country. . PS I had travelled over 5 miles in the back country to make it out.
