Super Bowl 2012: Puppy Predictors Champ Returns To 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (VIDEO)

Who do you think is going to win Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday?

While individual team strengths, injuries and the results of past matchups may help your prediction, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" takes a different approach.

In September, Fallon's show made use of adorable little puppies to predict the winners of this year's NFL season. Starting with 32 puppies, each representing a different NFL team, winners from a series of races to a food bowl narrowed down the field to just one puppy.

To the delight of New Englanders everywhere, "Bruce Mackabee," the puppy representing the New England Patriots, was the season winner.

Jimmy brought Bruce back on Late Night this week to talk about the Pats, but the puppy kept quiet on the big game and Gronkowski's ankle injury.

The Super Bowl alternative, now in its eighth year, features teams of puppies playing on a small football field, with other animals in supporting roles. It may not have the storied history of the Super Bowl, but it is sure to also tug at fans' heartstrings.
