Former New York Giants' Amani Toomer's Newly Renovated 50K Home Theater

Which Athlete Just Spent 50K On A TV Room?

Who spends 50K on a time-crunched two week renovation of a home theater they're not even going to use? If you'd asked us this question ten minutes ago, we would have laughed in disbelief and said 'No one!' But as it turns out, former New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer did just that.

Wanting to watch this year's Super Bowl in style, he hired designer Todd Anthony Puma and doled out big bucks on completely new furniture and electronics, including a dynamic system that links the sound to the audio, so that when the music gets louder the lights get brighter, and when the sounds get softer the dimmers are triggered. However, when he found out that his former team had made it to the Super Bowl, Amani decided to ditch his new state-of-the-art room to watch the game live at the Lucas Oil Stadium. Let's face it, Amani's got his priorities. And we've just got one question: Can we borrow the room for a night? You know, just to test and make sure everything is working...
