Joanna Krupa & Katie Cleary Demand Kardashians Stop Selling Fur At DASH

Oh Look, More Kardashian Backlash

Plenty of people bond over shared disdain for the Kardashians, but two models have linked arms to actually put part of the Kardashian empire out of business.

Models Joanna Krupa and Katie Cleary have taken to the Internet with a petition demanding the Kardashian family remove all fur from their DASH boutiques.

Those who are in the spotlight must set a good example for the rest of the world and send the message that it is NOT ok to torture innocent creatures for fashion! It is time for the Kardashians to pave the way for the rest of the fashion and entertainment business and remove all fur from their stores and clothing line. Cruelty cannot be tolerated!

The petition states that the women are trying to obtain 10,000 signatures; as of publishing time they'd already obtained 1,030.

The Kardashi-clan has a complicated history with animal rights activism. Even though Khloe posed naked for one of those famous "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" ads, PETA still bestowed Kim with the dubious honor of "Celebrity Grinch" last year for her fondness for pelts.

But this isn't the first time petition-wielders have united to try to stop the Kardashian publicity Frankenstein as it lumbers across the country. In November, thousands signed a document in an attempt to get E! to cancel "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" due to its depiction of "vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption."

(It seems they've lost.)
