Versace-Like Scarf Prints Are Everywhere For Spring (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS Versace-Like Scarf Prints Are Everywhere For Spring

Couture master Gianni Versace was known for his scarf prints (remember the Jennifer Lopez dress?) and they've been front and center since Versace for H&M exploded on the scene earlier this fall.

Designers like Givenchy, Gucci and Mary Katranzou adorned their fall/winter collections with kaleidoscopic hues in paisleys, oversized florals and all manner of baroque shapes that looked like they came right off of an Italian fresco (or an Italian restaurant). The trend has carried right on for spring, whether it's the rich purple florals on Prabal Gurung's lust-worthy dresses or Alexander Wang's botanical-print cargo jacket.

The colorful prints, previously seen wrapped around the necks (and handbags) of sophisticated ladies, have now taken their rightful place on everything from dresses to bikinis. Thankfully, the prices are nothing like what you'd pay for an Hermes scarf (otherwise known as a mortgage payment), and we've rounded up some of our favorites for under $100. Or, if you're lucky, you dig around your rich old auntie's attic for her old scarves -- you never know what you'll find.
