'W.E.': Madonna Cut Daughter Lourdes From New Film

Perhaps Madonna's daughter Lourdes gave her mother hydrangeas for Christmas?

The Material Girl's offspring had a small role in her mother's film, "W.E.," which opens in theaters this Friday. However, as the singer/actress/director told MTV, she ended up having to cut the scene from the film.

"There was a scene where [Lourdes] played Wally [Wallis Simpson] as a young girl. And I just kind of dragged her in at the last minute. It was quite unfair of me what I did and what I asked her to do," admitted Madonna. "But she was really great and then I ended up cutting her out of the film. Ruthless, I know. I said, 'Sorry babe, you're on the cutting room floor.' She took it like a champ."

Motherly! At the very least, this proves Madonna really won't pull any punches, even for her own children. Hopefully, Lourdes got something out of it, like, uh, free tickets to the Super Bowl?

I cannot imagine Madonna's children being thin skinned. Sure she was probably disappointed but when your mother already put you in a video and has more money than most of the world, I don't think she probably really cared. As far as what people think of her, I don't think she sits around worrying about what anyone thinks of her...

I think if anyone had the potential to make ridiculous demands on behalf of her children, it would be Madge. But it would appear this is not the case! Good on her. She had to work hard for her success, she must want to intill that determination in her own children.

No but if you look at Madoodle's pics for early life she looked just like Lourdes. I see that Lourdes, like mommy, has shaved her eyebrows. Madoodle's early pics show her with thick black eyebrows

She probably has them waxed or plucked rather than shaving them. They'd grow back way too fast with shaving, so women generally don't do it that way.
