Craft Of The Day: Lego Napkin Holder

When Do Legos Belong On Your Table?

This Craft Of The Day will bring on happy childhood memories of afternoons spent playing with Legos. The bright building blocks has become an unlikely crafting material, turning up in all sorts of projects. We've seen Lego fruit bowls, platters, serving spoon rests and vases. But our favorite has to be this napkin holder. Keep reading for the how-to and let your imagination take over.

What You'll Need
Legos!
Inspiration (a photo of the building or object you are recreating)

How To Make It
1. Decide what you want to build and print out a photograph of it. (In this case, we think the inspiration may have been the arches on the Brooklyn Bridge.)
2. Start building with your legos. (Make sure you have a square base to build on.)
3. Start with one side and work on it until you have the exact look you want, and then build the other side.
4. Set napkins inside and put your finished holder on display!
