Are you ready for some football?

The NFL's biggest showdown of the year -- the Super Bowl XLVI -- is set for Sunday night, and the New England Patriots will take on the New York Giants in a rematch of sorts to the 2008 Super Bowl.

We've already figured out who are some of the biggest Giants and Patriots celebrity fans, but there are many other NFL teams out there with a fair share of stars rooting for them each season.

George Clooney and Nick Lachey are both Cinncinatti Bengals fans, while Brad Pitt has been spotted at a New Orleans Saints game or two, with son Maddox looking stylish a black and gold jersey.

Pennsylvania native Will Smith is a Philadelphia Eagles fan and rapper Snoop Dogg can be seen rocking a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey every now and then.

Jennifer Lopez and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony have a stake in the Dolphins, so that explains their Miami loyalty -- though we're not sure how that will shake out once their divorce is finalized.

Well, the Giants may be in for a tough fight come Sunday night, but at least they have Snooki on their side!

Most these celebs are bandwagon fans that are in it for the free PR and goodie bags.

Only HuffPo would consider Nick Lachey a "celebrity" and report on his favorite football team as "news."

I clicked on this by mistake. Does anyone care about this crap?

How the f*** does someone get to write for the Huffington Post when they have this many grammatical errors? "A rematch of sorts to the 2004 Super Bowl" = 2008 numb nuts. "With son Maddox looking stylish a black and gold jersey" - forget a word there? Every other article on Huffington Post is written by what seems to be an 8th grader from ESL. You know how to do end the recession, HP? Employ people like me to actually read, edit, and correct your articles before posting them to the world.

I do believe they've outsourced to a Latin American sweatshop that employs only 10-year olds. The journalistic quality here is worst on the internet.

I'm hoping that Charlie White (R), the top election official in Indiana where the Super bowl is being hosted, is sent to prison for his conviction of 6 counts of felonious voter fraud......I'm with you Charlie, all the way until the door is slammed tightly shut behind you........

It seems like the same teams go to the Super Bowl over and over again. The last time I bothered was when the Saints finally made it there and won. This one? Meh.
