Well I am black but my wife is not, but I wonder if the love I have for her and our soon to be born daughter is any less "black" than what I see represented in the images listed in this segment. While I am happy to see black American's being represented it still saddens me that my wife and I only make up half of the current standard that being white America and the other being black when looking at the two categories. While there needs to be representation of minority classes in the United States (or the world for that matter) it should not be brought to the fore front by ostracizing other groups as two wrongs don't make a right regardless of the intentions.

Keep the love bro. You take love where you find it. Love truly is colour blind. I'm all for mixing up the races. I personally support you! You found love and that is all that matters!

What does your statement about your unborn child have to do with anything? You're only looking at a few photos from a slideshow? Who's to say they won't post an interracial couple on here? Sounds like you have a personal gripe. Chill out. A couple representing you and your wife could be well on the horizon on here.

Currently, I don't see pictures of interracial couples just to reiterate. I also included positives regarding the representation of black American's in love, it's a great thing and I'm all for it. My point was more so regarding the "title" used to showcase the images as this is the ostracizing factor that I, my wife and many of my family members are subjected to. I'm not at all irate so I don't see the reason to "chill out" as you put it. I believe that I have some very good points that were obviously not accounted for even if they were considered, hence my initial comment.

These photos are beautiful. I love this. It is a moral responsibility of the black media and blacks in general to show the "other" side to black love since the media only shows the bad side. Blacks don't do a good job countering their image.

Well...... no shortage of "racists" here i betcha you all call ourselves "Christians" too. But my understanding of "love" is that it has no boundaries, has no color, and is infinite in the shapes it takes, loud, silent or maybe just a "timely" murmur spoken in the ear your beloved. I get the distinct impression of "strong" disapproval of someone else's "choice", why? How in the world does someone else's choice of mate have anything to do with you?? Your not the one sleeping/ being with that "person". Being able to choose for ones "self" is a fundamental "human right" and should NEVER be given up to placate the self righteous "Blacker than thou" crowd or the "Hitlerites" of other ethnicities.

Yes, I am all for Black men and women mating each other and marrying each other. The media which wants to tear us apart and make us think that "white is more desirable" is there to destroy Black Love. Black men especially must realize that the media is placed there to destroy the Black family. The destruction of the Black family began during slavery, continued through the welfare system, and even socially through the bombardment of images that show the "white woman as being more desirable" than the Black woman, so that Black men would want anything but his own woman. Black people need to wake up and realize what is going on. Black men especially need to realize that God's blessing is not on this type of thinking and behaving. Notice that the races of men who are more blessed and are ahead financially and otherwise are the races of men who marry their women in more percentages, who have lower rates of illegitimate births and have a higher rate of complete families. The Black man is lagging behind every other race of men for this reason. Many Black men have a low marriage rate with the Black woman, and continue to not have the Blessing of God on his head because of this rejection of the Black woman.

Your right but it's up to black men to make that change

I could be wrong about this, but the last time I checked, 90% of black men were dating/marrying-you guessed it-black women. Now the MEDIA would have you believe it otherwise, but it just isn't so.
