One of this year's most heart warming Super Bowl commercial's was a 30-second spot highlighting the work of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The ad profiled 3-year-old Anastacio Cuevas, a child who beat leukemia with the help of chemotherapy and his family and the charity by his side. Using a series of touching photographs of Cuevas, the commercial showed the various stages of his recovery.

The not-for-profit provides resources and stability to more than 4.5 million children and families a year around the world.

Paid for by McDonald's Corporation, this is the fourth time RMHC has aired a commercial highlighting the benefits of the charity's work at the Super Bowl.

When my sister was in Children's Memorial Hospital undergoing a double bypass at 5 years old after being diagnosed and treated for Kwasaki's Disease at age 2 my parents were not allowed to stay at the local Ronald McDonald house because she didn't have cancer. I understand what they're trying to do but making rules against families that are already going through hard times is horrible.

bernie.. i dont know when that was but when we were staying there . there were alot of families that their kids did not have cancer. some had heart problems some kidney alot of different illiness. one time when anastacio was sick we stayed there and i met a family that had a son in the hospital because of a car accident. I dont know if maybe certian houses have different rules but the house we stay at when anastacio is sick in oaklawn ,ill is open to all families .. I agree everyone should be able to be with their family when they have a sick child its so important..
