Brandon Jacobs On Super Bowl Win Over Patriots: 'We Decapitated Them' (VIDEO)

'We Decapitated Them'

It should not come as too much of a surprise that outspoken Giants running back Brandon Jacobs had the most surly reaction on the victorious side of Super Bowl XLVI. After all, this is the same guy who went out of his way to call Jets coach Rex Ryan a "disrespectful bastard" after the Giants won the so-called "Battle of New York" during the regular season.

Shortly after the clock hit zero, as Giants players were celebrating with their families, ESPN's Rachel Nichols caught up with Jacobs, who had just scooped up his two young sons. Asked how it feels to have topped the Patriots in the Super Bowl twice, Jacobs offered a dark answer in a tone that was hardly celebratory.

"We decapitated them," Jacobs said. "They can't wear that crown no more, baby. Can't wear that crown anymore."

Two things. One, the New England Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl since their 2005 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. So we're not sure what crown Jacobs is speaking of. Two, "decapitate" is some very, very harsh imagery after a Super Bowl victory and with your two sons in your arms. Just saying..

Anyways, watch the clip above to see Jacobs' reaction.
