So great recipes BUT, isn't the idea for the poor wife/girlfriend to be wined and dined instead
of slaving over a hot stove, then having to do the clean up after? This idea sounds really great
for the guys, but what about the women????

BUT, I do the cooking and I'm a guy. What an insult to insinuate that only wife/girlfriend can cook.

What could you substitute for that vile soap weed - cilantro? I like steak but seem to dislike the taste of soap.

A garlic compound butter with some parsley is really good. You can also use rosemary or anything else you like in with the butter..that is the best thing about making compound butter at home.

Doesn't anyone realize that if you get a proper quality meat or fish, you don't have to dress
it up with sauce unless you get an inferior quality and then, of course you must. For fish,
tomato sauce of any kind is too strong as fish is delicate. I could not find one recipe that
I felt you should even write about.

Tuna tartare with avocado and sesame oil on cirspy wontons. Sockeye salmon w capers, lemon and olive oil with sugar snaps and rosemary new potatoes. Raspberry & Rosewater "tiramisu".

That's what I would consider a romantic dinner if I actually were cooking one tomorrow.

No steak and lobster? Or crab fettucine in a basil cream sauce? Or how about veal oscar with bernaise sauce?

I know, they had besides the tuna and mussels really mediocre fish especially for such a special dinner. Tilapia is total garbage and guess where it comes from, China!.

Quick Chicken Cordon Bleu, grilled asparagus and a little pasta with garlic sauce, short on the garlic and maybe a little/pinch of Thyme, Oregano and Parsley . Mostly for color, always for taste.
