Katherine Heigl Zebra Print Dress Is A Bit Wild For Our Taste (PHOTOS, POLL)

Animal print has become the new neutral, worn by otherwise unadventurous dressers on tops, bottoms and even shoes. Sometimes a dose of spots works (see: Sienna Miller) and sometimes it fails miserably (see: this catastrophe).

At a Berlin photocall for "One For The Money," Katherine Heigl eschewed the more common leopard print in favor of zebra, bolding sporting the black and white stripes stretched sideways across her one-strap dress.

Horizontal stripes alone are a fashion risk, but luckily Heigl has the body for it. As for the wild print, however, we're not the biggest fans. Despite the smart pairing of a nude shoe with the busy top, we have a hard time respecting zebra as a sophisticated, red carpet-ready print, plus the harsh black and white washes Heigl's ivory complexion out.

But we've always been biased towards leopard and tiger anyway. Do you think zebra stripes belong on the red carpet?

I think she looks fabulous. With a frame like that she can wear anything. The dress is cute too.

She has no fashion sense. Her hair color is out of harmony with her complexion. Maybe a different color blonde (???), or just a different color entirely. Her make up looks like she did it in the car on the way the to the event. And those earrings do not match the style of the dress. She either needs to hire a stylist or fire a stylist.

Not too elegant but what is worse is that she looks bad. Her make up is terrible, the earrings look cheap and she needs a make over.

There's nothing wrong, necessarily, with the print. The problem is that it doesn't look good on Katherine.

Oh, Please,

Faux ruby chandelier earrings with a contemporary dress that should be longer to hide her awful knees or shorter is she had nice games, but never that length.

The shoes are out of scale, look humongous, and are the wrong color.

I like the the things she has done....and she actually seems like a nice person.

I love Katherine and she is a beautiful woman ... but oh my goodness that dress just didn't do it...at all...in any way...in most cases she looks wonderful...but this dress was just...WRONG!!!!!!!!!

Her sense of fashion has always been a bit terrible in my opinion, and this doesn't help at all.
