LeAnn Rimes Recovers From Minor Oral Surgery, Beachside (VIDEO)
LeAnn Rimes is recovering from minor mouth surgery.
The 29-year-old singer confessed on Twitter that she's still hurting from the procedure, writing:
"K, coming clean....I had minor surgery this week and I've been in SO much pain it's not even funny. Nothing major just annoying! Pain pain go away!!!!!! When it's mouth pain and jaw pain it makes your whole head pound! YUCK"
Reps for Rimes confirmed to "E! News" that the singer underwent oral surgery to correct a temporomandibular joint disorder, commonly called TMJ, and is healing quickly.
Rimes is apparently recovering seaside at her Malibu beach home and told her Twitter followers that she has "meds but nada is helping." She later let them know, "The pain is subsiding finally for a moment. My head has been vibrating all day. Maybe the sand under my feet is helping."
By Sunday, Rimes was still feeling "yucky" and complained that she hadn't been able to work out in six days, but was ready to watch the Super Bowl.
Perhaps it was the thrill of the New York Giants winning the big game, or her meds finally kicking in, but Rimes seemed in much better spirits by the end of the night, writing, "Off and on pain! I'm happy now :)"
