Super Bowl: Newspapers Celebrate And Mourn Giants' Win (PHOTOS)

Super Bowl 2012

After the New York Giants' Super Bowl win, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat could both be found in Monday morning's newspapers -- depending on where you lived.

Do you call New England home? Then the downcast, deflated front pages of the region's papers are a good place for your tears.

Live in the Tri-State area? Then the jubilant covers will surely match your euphoria.

Below, see how papers in both parts of the country covered this year's Super Bowl.

Monday it was hard to find a Patriots fan -- fair weather people. I have never been a New York Giants fan or Eli Manning fan and never will be. I am a sore loser. Had Gronk not been at his best it may have been another story. I don't have to knock players on the other team to feel good about my team. Go Patriots!

It's funny how the Pat-cheat-its haven't won a superbowl since it was revealed that they were cheating (the Steelers)

I used to enjoy it when it was a football game rather than an orgy for corporate titans and network hype.

Personally, I didn't care about either team "GO STEELERS" but the game was a nail biter for me because it became more about Brady and Belichick losing than anything else. It was exciting! The only thing that would have made it better would seen little, bitter, football tears running down Brady and Belichick's faces. Did I mention GO STEELERS?

Why is anyone surprised? The Pats lost to every good defensive team besides narrowly beating the Ravens.

No. How any one could feel sorry for millionaires who got paid to play, win or lose, is silly.

'national'---exactly.
Nobody else in the world is interest on US sports.

If HuPo picked European press as I did,for example, you see that Superbowl is barely mentioned or in its in a small article in last pages.

US "sports"...
/irrelevant.

It's just so irrelevant that you felt compelled to comment on it. Rugby, futbol, and cricket. Thats where its at, right? lol
