Super Bowl Halftime Show: Madonna, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A And Cee-Lo Dazzle (PHOTOS)

The Super Bowl halftime show was amazing. But with Madonna as the headliner--was there ever really a doubt?

The 53-year-old, who was decked out in Givenchy Couture and Bulgari jewels, commanded the stage for 12 minutes--cartwheeling, grinding and voguing--like the icon she is.

Wearing Egyptian style Erickson Beamon headpieces, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. hit the stage for a performance of Madonna's new single "Give Me All Your Lovin'." Although the ladies with help from the Southern University Dancing Dolls did a fabulous job, M.I.A. caused a bit a of a stir by flipping the bird during her verse. Opps!

We guess the "Paper Planes" singer didn't get the memo that the Super Bowl is a family-friendly event (though it doesn't seem as bad as Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction").

Cee-Lo Green also made an appearance. "The Voice" judge marched on stage dressed in a bedazzled band leader's costume for a duo of "Open Your Heart" and closed the show with Madonna by singing "Like A Prayer" in a head-to-toe sequin choir robe.

Check out pictures from the show below...

Watching lip syncing at the Superbowl....doesn't equate. We want a real football game, hilarious commercials and true live vocals at halftime. Lip syncing is lacking.

MADONNA is a fellow Goddess Worshipper, who both understands and overstands that long before History, HERstory was and is far more vitally important to restoring true universal harmony and 'World Peace' to our all too cynical world. And I, for one, was thoroughly impressed that at 53 years young, as a one time 80's icon, who has remained commercially viable & relevant for the past 3 decades, that she got up on that stage and showed some of today's so called stars & (wannabe) divas, what a TRUE ENTERTAINMENT LEGEND, ICON & DIVA is all about... THE WORK! And make no mistaked, Madonna werrrrrrked! She gave us visuals, vocals, melody, harmony, eye candy, production, lights, sound, smoke & mirrors & a message! Who could ask for anything more in 12 minutes or less... something OLD, something NEW, something BORROWED & something BLUE! Truth be told, she didn't even need NICKI, M.I.A. or CEEE-LO, because their star poiwer combined couldn't touch 1/10 of the magnitude of megastar that she is as one of THE most successful and well known women in this planets history! MADONNA YOU ROCKED & LONG MAY YOU REIGN! God(dess) with you always, my love... GOD IS WITH YOU ALL-WAYS!

The only thing impressive about this performance was how much money was spent by NFL on this. She clearly wanted people to see it and think "wow, Madonna is so powerful". Like look all those dancers, flashy outfits, a really big stage, all those things. She had a full golden outfit and a golden chair. However, the dynamics of the show itself were predictable, like, for example, her "Music" part of the show felt like an outtake from one of her past tours, very unimaginative, everyone already saw these guys dancing around like that while she sings "Music". I also feel that it is very opportunistic she performed Express Yourself, after all controversy with Lady Gaga. Also her dancing was a bit lacking, and the part with LMFAO was awkward. Her most powerful song on the set, Like a prayer, lacked power(vocal wise), and her partner, Cee-lo, was like out of place -- It didn't feel like it was cohesive at all. Overall, i thought that this didn't feel special. It was all about the stage, the outfits, the dancers, about showing stuff, but her as a performer lacked a lot. She was too worried about her ego. She lacked real passion for the music being performed.

SHe is more successful than you would be in 10 lifetimes so you might want to watch your mouth and go back under the rock you came out from under!!

You need to CHILL OUT. You might worship Madonna; not everyone else does. I have NEVER been a Madonna fan. I'm Madonna's age and saw her in the beginning. She was a "pop singer" with all that "Like A Virgin" stuff when I was into jazz, blues, and real rock. Then she morphed into some Dance Hall Disco singer, droning out stuff that sounds like Cher's disco crap. Not bad when I go to the clubs here in Miami, but that's about it. Of course she is a gay icon, and because of THAT, we are not allowed to be critical of her. But I just do not think her MUSIC is all that, and I don't care about the rest of her; the hype and the image does not impress me.

It was a nice SHOW; that's for sure. Lots of lights and good looking FEMALE dancers. All the male dancers looked like androgynous freakazoids. I'm sorry, I don't find that look attractive in any way. Her own performance was just OK, that's about it. Her voice was weak and she nearly fell once. In the pantheon of American Music Greats, she is way down on the list.

I thought that Madonna looked kind of old and slow, and she actually made a couple of slip ups. But I thought that her dancers were pretty good and held it down. The guy on the wire was pretty good. Overrall... The show wasn't great, but a little better than I thought it would be.

But the point is that the main performer is her. She was too worried into making people believe that she is some Queen to be worshiped, that she left a lot to be desired on the dancing, the vocals, and the passion. You can't buy talent, but you can buy outfits, hire many dances, and set up a big stage.

Madonna has already left her mark on the industry; she really has nothing else to prove at this stage in her career. Last night was simply meant to be entertainment; she wasn't competing for anything. Remember she still has records that have yet to be broken by any other entertainer... I prefer to give credit where credit's due...

You are mosre likely the joke what is you claim to fame scrubbing toilets???
05:57 PM on 02/06/2012
BLING AND KARAOKE.....yawn. What did any of it have to do with the Superbowl ???
05:03 PM on 02/06/2012
This performance was all about her ego, about showing off. She wants people to BELIEVE that she is a Queen. I know that she is the Queen of Frauds, because someone who can't compose her own songs, pays for songwriting credits, and still tells everybody how she is real songwriter does not deserve to be called an artist.

How come Eli Manning is MVP?...Shouldn't it be the guy who caught the ball?...Anybody have an answer?..Just asking.

Imagine what wouldn't have happened if Eli didn't throw the ball as precisely as he did... Totally different outcome....
09:56 AM on 02/07/2012
ToniaB....ok, you're right..that toss was precise...but that catch was precise too....I just think both guys should have been the MVP...In my humble opinion.

Can we say Geriatrics. Flippin' and near slippin' in slow motion....Every song ...every walk...seemed to be in slo-mo...and I just gotta laugh...Ceelo...I just don't know about this brotha....I have no words....He sang good tho....and the MIA girl..why?....that was truly unnecessary....she's not even at the calibre of a star yet to be doing that where folk will forgive you or overlook it....A no damn body flippin' the bird..WTH!!!...I still didn't like the dig against Janet Jackson.

She was performing with an injured hamstring in 5" heels. I'd like to see any of us try that.
07:52 PM on 02/06/2012
So what? She is a professional , is she or not? She is paid big bucks to do her thing, there are no excuses.

She's old, wrinkled and stiff.
01:36 PM on 02/06/2012
Visually it was great. But Ceelo was better vocally than all of them put together; and he was just hummin'.
05:05 PM on 02/06/2012
That's exactly what she wanted: impress people visually. It was all of madonna's insecurities blended all together and translated into a massage to her ego. She is just a mediocre artist, therefore she doesn't have real confidence in her art. Thus, she has to resort to stuff like this. Make a megalomaniac performance to impress people with visuals, but she lacked passion, dancing skills, vocal abilities, and creativity. A mess.

Obvously you dont have a job with this continual posting your are doing. If you hated it that much and dont like her why did you eveb watch it??

CeeLo does have a really nice voice and he can actually sing unlike so many others performing these days.
11:17 AM on 02/06/2012
Was Madonna representing the Illuminati with that crown she had on???
05:06 PM on 02/06/2012
Yes. She wants to manipulate people into thinking she is some kind of Queen they have to worship and that she is talented. If you are not a sheep, you would know that she is NOT a Queen and she is NOT talented.

What on Earth is everybody buggin’ out about Madonna’s performance? That was Madonna giving high-fashion glamazon and doing what she does best… holding court. Here are the facts: http://bit.ly/xIKbMD

Thought the halftime show was the best i've seen in years. MIA was, however, pathetic in her attempt to tell the world (that has given her a bit of fame) "Screw You". She has no class
07:47 PM on 02/06/2012
It is hardly the best. You need to see MJ's, Prince's or the Stone's. These are way better than this one. This one is only about things money can buy, not real talent.

Wow. I thought Madonna lacked energy and self-confidence. Maybe the boots were weighing her down. She looked fabulous though.

it wasn't a bad show. Madonna did some of her classic songs which was good.
05:08 PM on 02/06/2012
She lip synched and it was dull, not passionate, I find that it was very reductive.
