Two-Faced Kitten Born In Port Charlotte, Florida, Dies After Two Days

In a sad ending to this story, two-faced kitten Harvey Dent's owners contacted ABC 7's Josh Taylor Thursday to report that the cat has passed away. They say he died last Wednesday night from complications, just two days old.

So many people have become cat haters as of late. Doesn't it make you wonder, why ? This kitten was fortunate in having humans that cared for him. People toss out full healthy cats, and kittens, they move and leave the animals, they put out a cat because she was mated ( humans never get them fixed, and let them outdoors ) and yet it's the cats fault. Wait just a bit, our species will start tossing out humans...opps,wait they do that already . I am a human who tries to gather up at least 1 cat a month, after its used to me feeding it, taking it to local APL and paying for it to get checked up, shots,fixed and kept over the weekend for healing ( $ 25.00 per ) ...well I did for 7 years,now I'm laid off; so I can only feed them and try to find them warm,dry,safe shelter as close to me as possible. No I'm not a nut, I'm a person that believes in not only life, but the quality of life. Shame on all who wrote about politics, wrote bad taste jokes..JOKES, seriously ! To lose someone you love_?_Have the sense to respect others sorrows, and consolences. Extremely rude,and insensitive.

Sadly, when one eats, the other chokes, and/or drowns...they never live more than a couple days. Watch Oddities on the Science Channel. Its fascinating stuff.

The poor little guy didn't have a chance in life. He is now in the animal kingdom not being judged. He is free to have fun.Maybe he will even get to be with my angles up above. Now PLEASE owners get your cat fixed so there are not any more unwanted litters.

Aw, this is so sad. Now the couple won't have to decide, as this pretty and different fur baby passed on his own. Very sad. I have tears in my eyes. I own a senior cat and she is dying of cancer, and I am a mess. First animal I ever owned and it is so heart breaking. She has lost 40% of her original weight, eats and eats and nothing stays down. Vet is treating her with two weeky shots to help her get a few more weeks in, without forcing the issue. Very expensive, but I don't care because she is family - I would not bury her in the back yard any more than I would do that to my parents. We play, and she is very attentive now. I believe she knows this is the end. I just want to love and comfort her until she goes.

i am so so sorry for what you are going through. sincerely. love her. and know she loves you. and take as many pictures as you can. i just lost my little boy cat to cancer and although i can barely look to tomorrow because of the grief i am surrounded by his presence. and that is what keeps me getting through each day right now. the love and joy our companion animals bring us is beyond measure. and it is our duty to ensure they have as rich and happy an existence as possible. and then to let them go with dignity and respect. my heart is truly sad for you.

i am sorry for your loss it can be tough to lose a loved pet but the unconditional love they give us for the short time we have them is worth it

I do know what you are going through. I had to put 3 dogs to sleep within 15months . They were so loving. But they were suffering. When I took them in I was in tears. They, all 3(diffent times) all wagged their tails and licked my hand. Before the vet came in they gave a huge sigh as if they knew. I loved my pets so much I could not see them suffering and in pain any more. This past Oct. my old cat died in my room during the night. I was so glad I was not working that day,I would not have been able to do it. You really should think is it for her or for you that you are not putting her out of her pain.I am not trying to be mean,but do not be selfish.

If nothing else comes of this tragic death, let's hope the owners have their cat spayed now so no more litters are born..............too many homeless animals in the world now.
