Utah Valley University Creates Animation About The History of Aviation

An Animated Trip Through The History Of Human Flight

It's easy to forget the years of mechanical evolution aviation endured when stepping onto a commercial airplane. The stress of travel and seeming inconvenience of security tends to trump the scientific miracle that is human flight. Luckily, the Utah Valley University school of Aviation Science released an animated short to provide some perspective. From Leonardo da Vinci's designs of winged flying machines and parachutes in the 1480s to the Montgolfier Brothers' hot air balloons in 1783, from the infamous Wright Brothers in 1903 to modern-day aviation, this 3D animation's got the long-storied history.
