UPDATE: Detroit cops said today that no charges would be filed against the 9-year-old boy suspected of shooting a 15-year-old this weekend, according to Clickondetroit.com. Other media outlets also reported that the boy was put in the care of Child Protective Services.

According to police, the victim, a black male age 15, was walking down Kilbourne around 6:25 a.m. when he observed the 9-year-old male suspect on a front porch.
