thehill.com:

He has been dubbed "cable TV's angriest anchorman," but Dylan Ratigan says that was then, and this is now.

At a fete held by The Week and MSNBC last week for his new book, Greedy Bastards: Corporate Communists, Banksters and the Other Vampires Who Suck America Dry, Ratigan was introduced as the "angriest man in America." Yet Ratigan claims he has changed.

Dylan is great because he is intelligent and passionate.
But I can't believe he's only 39.
He's way too stressed out to be only 39. Needs to step away a little bit and relax.

On MSNBC, I will watch Alex, Andrea, Tamron and Martin then once this guy comes on, I turn off the TV or change the channel. Then turn it back on and watch Chris, Al, Ed, Rachael and Lawrence. I just cannot take this guy's constant yelling, ranting and raving.

I hope he keeps the insight and loses the emotional roller coaster ride he puts himself through. It is tough to be calm when facing insanity but like a surgeon with blood everywhere, we don't need the thinkers to lose their composure. He can serve everyone best by keeping his composure while continuing to press for answers and asking question sin a way that enlightens us further.

What's MSNBC's?
Seriously?
IMHO - Too many acronyms nowa' days.

Please send Olbermann and Shultz to your Chepak whats-his-name. They need some ego management badly. If he can tame those two I will visit him next.

Dylan keep your fire burning...Keep fighting the "good" fight.

He's only 39? I swear I thought he was in his 50s.

He's little more than MSNBC's version of Lou Dobbs: The verbose, loaded questions that take 10 minutes to ask; the amped up outrage, the rude behavior.

This hour needs to be given to any one of a number of bright, engaging, informative potential newcomers like Johnathan Capehart or Eric Dyson.

I clicked in here to mention his age. I found out his age a few months back and could not believe it. He needs to calm the - - - -.down or he's not going to be around long. A man of his age shouldn't have that much to be angry about.

I can't watch him anymore. Not only is he always on full blast, but he says the same thing over and over again. It gets to the point that you don't know what he's talking about. I don't want to be watching when he strokes out or has a heart attack on the air.

Don't know what he has to be angry about???????????? I'm pissed all the time. We are helpless against the machine. I try not to dwell on it, but it is difficult. I feel I should be actively changing the world and it ain't easy. I work in medicine, and the insurance companies have ruined our business. They keep all of our money and make it difficult to pay staff, rent, etc. Talk about pissed, I use every chance I get to remind the patients that the insurance company they pay premiums to is not their advocate, but their adversary, trying to keep the money and never pay it out unless there is law that says they have to. Seriously f----d up sh--t.

You haven't heard pissed off until you've heard Eric Dyson! Love the fire, love the anger. At least it is pointed at the right target, unlike the Fox gang or Limbaugh.

Keep it lit, Dylan!

From this pic, it looks as if he's the angriest at sandwiches, and he's taking out his anger with extra mayo. Yeesh - try an orange instead, Dylan.

RATigan is a total joke. Why he is still on TV shoveling his BS is a mystery.

I saw the Zen master Dylan on Morning Joe (yes, too lazy to change the channel) and heard about the ridiculous "30 Million Jobs Tour". Wow, he is going to solve this-- his answers to the issue?
1. Don't fire people
2. Businesses, hire people!
3. The more people who work, the more jobs!
4. Me being on tour creates jobs for caterers, people who count out brown M&Ms for me
5. Stop sending jobs overseas! (Got that one from Obama)

That's the point that Ratigan had to learn, his "ineffectiveness of being angry". He got nowhere fast ranting and raving and all people had to do was turn him off, down, or change channels. You cannot "make" people listen to you. Once he realized that you an only change people with kindness, he took on a whole new persona and it fits him well.

Hi momo, perfect, he is brilliant and impatient, or maybe I think it's part and parcel to his personality if one observes his body language, he is merely vehement in his sincereity, you are absoluteoly right. I really admire Ratigan, and he is funny too.

A good anchor person starts with an open mind; this one started (have not seen his show for quite some time now) with hating everything Obama and the Administration.

I agree. But, Dylan's not the only one. Cenk is another one.
